Board Certified Behavioral Analyst ( Full-Time)

   A BCBA is a health care professional who studies the behavior of children and adults and creates plans to improve or change problematic behaviors. They often work with people who have developmental disabilities, brain injuries or emotional control, social or behavioral issues. BCBAs might also help people manage issues such as stress or anger in healthier ways or achieve personal behavior goals. Some BCBAs specialize in a specific population or issue, such as children, people with autism or the elderly.

 

Requirements:

  • Meeting with patients to observe and assess their behavior

  • Meeting with families, teachers or doctors to discuss the patient’s treatment and progress and recommend ways to address behavioral issues

  • Developing individual plans to correct, maintain or improve certain behaviors

  • Helping clients set and meet behavior goals

  • Keeping detailed notes of patient meetings and progress

  • Using methods such as reinforcement and conditioning to correct or reduce aggressive, harmful and anti-social behaviors and to encourage positive behaviors

  • Doing research and applying findings to their work

Entry Level Behavioral Technician (both Part-Time / Full-Time available)

   Meem Behavior is currently hiring for both part-time and full-time Behavioral Technician positions. Are you energetic? Passionate? A quick learner? Are you looking for a fun, dynamic environment with other compassionate workers? Do you want to change lives? This is the place for you.

   As a Behavioral Technician, you will work alongside experts in implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) programs. This includes working directly with children, analyzing data, and track progress of clients. You will be tasked to keep children engaged during sessions, teach appropriate play and social skills, provide reinforcement for desired behavior, and setup learning opportunities. 

 

Requirements:

  • Must love working with children.

  • Must be able to assume and maintain different postures and positions (sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, crawling etc.) for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in both oral and written formats.

  • Excellent time management, observational, and analytical skills.

  • Must be able to show up to work on time – absenteeism isn’t acceptable.

Training: Registered Behavioral Technician training needed for this position is provided free upon hire through the Behavioral Analysis Certification Board.
